Strawberry Mousse Cake Recipe

There is no shortage of people who love Chocolate Mousse but this world does not only belong to them. We also have Strawberry Mousse lovers and we don’t forget them! So here is the recipe of luscious Strawberry Mousse Cake with a chic chocolate netting border and Chocolate dipped Strawberries!

Ingredients of Biscuit Layer

  • Crushed Biscuit – 200 grams
  • Soften Butter – 100 grams

Ingredients of Strawberry Mousse

 

  • Whipping Cream – 250 grams
  • Strawberry Pie – 150 grams
  • Strawberry Syrup – 1/2 cup
  • Egg Whites – 2
  • Egg Yolks – 2
  • Gelatin Powder – 25 grams
  • Water – 1/3 cup
  • Vanilla Essence – 2 to 3 drops
  • Liquid Milk – 50 grams
  • Condensed Milk – 50 grams
  • Strawberry Chunks – 1/2 cup

Ingredients of Decoration

  • Strawberries (for Chocolate Dipped Strawberries on the top of cake)
  • Strawberry Slices (for the corners of Strawberry Mousse Cake)
  • Strawberry Syrup (for pouring on top of the cake)
  • Melted Chocolate for Chocolate Netting and Strawberry Dipping

Directions for making Strawberry Mousse Cake

  • Mix Crushed Biscuits with Soften Butter and make the bottom layer of the cake and add it to cake mould
  • Beat the Whipping Cream until it becomes fluffy
  • Beat Egg Whites and Egg Yolks separately
  • Mix Water with Gelatin Powder and microwave it for 30 seconds
  • Then add Vanilla Essence in this Gelatin Water
  • Now add Condensed Milk, Liquid Milk, Whipped Egg Whites, Whipped Egg Yolks and Gelatin Water in Whipped Cream and mix it very well
  • Add Strawberry Pie and Strawberry Syrup
  • Also add Strawberry Chunks into the Whipped Cream
  • Mix Whipped cream again and then add it into the cake mould where Biscuit Layer is already added
  • Now freeze this cake for 5-6 hours
  • Put Strawberry slices on the corners and pour Strawberry Syrup in the center of the cake
  • Put some Chocolate Dipped Strawberries on the top of the cake
  • Take a butter paper equivalent to the circumference of the cake stick it with Melted Chocolate on the corners
  • Now draw a random ZigZag pattern on the butter paper using a cone like shown in the video
  • Let the Chocolate Netting dry for a few moments
  • Then apply it on the border of the cake and carefully remove the butter paper
