Battered Prawn Tempura with Tuscan Sauce Recipe

Ingredients of Battered Prawn Tempura
- Marinating Prawns
- Prawns – 400 grams
- Salt – 2 teaspoons leveled
- Oyster Sauce – 1 tablespoon
- Black Pepper Powder – 1 teaspoon leveled
- Crushed Red Chilli – 1 tablespoon leveled
- Chopped Garlic – 1 tablespoon
- Mustard Paste – 2 tablespoon
- Chicken Powder – 2 teaspoon
- Preparing Batter
- Eggs – 2
- Baking Powder – 2 teaspoon leveled
- White Pepper Powder – 1 teaspoon
- Chicken Powder – 1 teaspoon
- Flour – 4 tablespoon
- Corn Flour – 8 tablespoon
- Vegetable Oil – 100 grams
- Chilled Water – As Required
- Cooking Oil for Deep Frying
Method of Battered Prawn Tempura
- Mix all marination ingredients in Prawns as shown in the video
- Let it marinate in the refrigerator for minimum 30 minutes
- For preparing batter, beat eggs and then start mixing the rest of batter ingredients as shown in the video
- Refrigerate the batter for almost 20-25 minutes
- After marination, straighten the Prawns
- Apply the batter and deep fry Prawns on medium heat
- Fry until the Prawns take Golden color
Ingredients of Tuscan Sauce
- Vegetable Oil – 2 tablespoons
- Chopped Garlic – 1 tablespoon
- Water – 1 cup
- Tomato Ketchup – 4 tablespoon
- Mayonnaise – 2 tablespoon
- Mustard Paste – 1 teaspoon
- Salt – 1 tablespoon
- Red Chilli Powder – 1 tablespoon
- Chicken Powder – 1 tablespoon
Method of Tuscan Sauce
- Put the frying pan on medium heat and add Vegetable Oil
- After heating the Oil, add Chopped Garlic and fry it
- Then add Water and Tomato Ketchup and mix it
- Add Mayonnaise and mix it
- Then add Mustard Paste and mix it
- Then add Salt, Red Chilli Powder and Chicken Powder as mentioned in the Tuscan Sauce ingredients
- Let it cook until it becomes a thick sauce
