Chocolate Mousse Cake Recipe

Who does not love Chocolate Mousse? And now you have your own recipe for making a delicious Chocolate Mousse Cake which does not even need any kind of baking. So make and enjoy this yummy cake with fresh strawberries!

Ingredients of Biscuit Layer

  • Crushed Biscuit – 200 grams
  • Soften Butter – 100 grams

Ingredients of Chocolate Mousse

  • Whipping Cream – 200 grams
  • Egg Whites – 2
  • Egg Yolks – 2
  • Gelatin Powder – 15 grams
  • Water – 1/3 cup
  • Vanilla Essence – 2 to 3 drops
  • Liquid Milk – 100 grams
  • Milk Chocolate – 200 grams
  • Condensed Milk – 50 grams

Ingredients of Chocolate Sauce/Syrup

  • Milk – 1/3 cup
  • Milk Chocolate – 100 grams

Ingredient of Decoration

  • Whipping Cream – 100 grams
  • Cocoa Powder  – 2 tablespoon
  • Milk – As Required
  • Strawberries – 5 to 6

Method of Chocolate Mousse Cake

  • Mix Crushed Biscuits and Soften Butter to make bottom layer of the cake and add it into the Cake Mould
  • Press it with hand to settle down at the very bottom of Cake Mould
  • Beat the Whipping Cream from Chocolate Mousse ingredients
  • Beat Egg Whites separately and Egg Yolks separately
  • Mix Water with Gelatin Powder and Microwave this Gelatin Water for 30 seconds
  • Now add Vanilla Essence into the Gelatin Water and mix it
  • Now melt the Chocolate in Microwave for 1 minute
  • Add Condensed Milk, Liquid Milk, Gelatin Water, Egg White and Egg Yolks into the Whipped Cream and mix it
  • After mixing it, add Melted Chocolate while still beating the Cream and mix it well
  • Chocolate Mousse is prepared, now add this into the Cake Mould which already has Biscuit Layer at the bottom
  • Put the Cake Mould in the freezer for 5-6 hours
  • Now take a Pan and add Milk and Chocolate from Chocolate Syrup ingredients
  • Cook it on slow heat until the Milk and Chocolate are mixed well
  • Then let it cool until the Chocolate Syrup become thick and smooth
  • Beat the Whipping Cream for Decoration
  • After beating the cream, add Cocoa Powder and beat it again
  • If the cream becomes very thick then add Milk as required for smoothness
  • Beat again after adding Milk
  • Now take the Chocolate Mousse Cake out of the Cake Mould as shown in the video
  • Decorate it with the Cream Whipped for decoration
  • Pour some Chocolate Syrup/Sauce as shown in the video recipe
  • Now add some fresh Strawberries for more decoration and color
