Fried Chicken Wontons Recipe

Make delicious appetizers within a few minutes with some chicken and traditional Chinese Wonton wrapping skills. Enjoy with Waqar’s home-made spicy tomato garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • Filling
    • Minced Chicken – 250 grams
    • Chicken Powder – 1 tablespoon
    • Chopped Carrots – 20 grams
    • Salt – 1 teaspoon
    • Oyster Sauce – 1 tablespoon
    • Red Chilli Crushed – 1 tablespoon
    • Chopped Capsicum – 20 grams
  • Wrapping
    • Wonton Wraps / Samosa Patti – 20 pieces
    • Flour – 2 tablespoon
    • Egg – 1
    • Water – 2 tablespoon
  • Sauce
    • Tomato Ketchup – 1/2 cup
    • Fresh Coriander – 1/2 tablespoon
    • Chopped Garlic – 1 teaspoon
    • Red Chilli Crushed – 1/2 tablespoon
    • Salt – 1/2 teapoon
    • Soy Sauce – 1 tablespoon
  • Frying
    • Cooking Oil for Deep Frying

Method

  • Mix all Filling ingredients together (marinate 20-30 minutes for better results)
  • Mix flour, egg and water from Wrapping ingredients to make flour paste for sealing wontons
  • Now use Wonton Wraps / Samosa Patti from Wrapping ingredients and add minced chicked into the wraps and seal it with flour paste
  • Shape wontons like a boat
  • Deep fry wonton on medium heat until it takes golden color
  • Now mix all Sauce ingredients together to make spicy tomato garlic sauce
